Cultiva™ Advance-Growth Root Capsules contain nutrients that plants require, blended within a capsule, which is placed into the substrate to nurture dense growth. They allow heavy feeding root plants greater access to key nutrients which are more efficient and effective for all species of aquatic plants, whilst, providing dissolved nutrients into the water column.

Usage Instructions: 

  1. In an aquarium that contains a plant growth substrate, such as, Aquaria PhD’s Cultiva Cohesion™, insert 1-2 root capsule(s) into the substrate directly under the plants that require heavy feeding (extra nutrients) every 2-6 months.
  2. In an aquarium that excludes a plant growth substrate, such as, Aquaria PhD’s Cultiva Cohesion™, you will need a stimulation period, this involves adding one root capsule in a 4x4cm dispersion that is; measure square areas (4cm) within your aquarium and place a single capsule in each corner of each square – thus ensuring best results.
  3. To keep the growth rate of your plants at its optimal levels, add new root capsules in a 10x10cm dispersion every 2-6 months, depending on how heavily your aquarium is planted, in the same configuration as above.
